Sy het in 2007 haar B.A.-graad in sielkunde en maatskaplike werk met lof aan die Noordwes-Universiteit (NWU) verwerf, en daarna ’n honneursgraad in sielkunde (2008). In 2010 het sy haar M.A.-graad in kliniese sielkunde verwerf. Sy is as ’n kliniese sielkundige by die Raad vir Gesondheidsberoepe van Suid-Afrika (RGBSA) geregistreer. Tans praktiseer sy weeksdae vanaf 08:00 - 18:00 by haar privaatpraktyk en sien graag kliënte vanaf 14 jaar en ouer, insluitend volwassenes, studente en tieners. Vanuit haar NWU-opleiding het sy ’n sterk fokus op kognitiewe gedragsterapie (KGT) en is opgelei in die geïntegreerde tegniese eklektiese benadering. In 2017 het sy haar primêre sertifikaat in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) ontvang en in 2018 haar gevorderde sertifikaat in REBT ontvang. Sy bied professionele psigoterapie en begeleiding vir persoonlike groei in sake verwant aan die meeste psigologiese uitdagings en probleme, wat strek van die hantering van moeilike lewens- en werksomstandighede, trauma, oormatige stres, angs en paniek, depressie, verhoudingsprobleme, trauma, aandagafleibaarheid, eetversteurings en vele meer. She received her B.A. degree in Psychology and Social work, cum laude, in 2007 at the North-West University (NWU), and there-after she did an honnours degree in Psychology (2008). In 2010 she received her M.A. degree in Clinical Psychology. She is registered as a clinical psychologist at the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). She is currently practicing at her private practice weekdays from 08:00 - 18:00 and enjoys working with clients from 14 years and older including adults, students and adolescents. From her NWU education she has a strong cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) focus and is trained in the integrated technical eclectic approach. In 2017 she completed her primary certificate in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) and in 2018 she completed her advanced certificate in REBT. She offers professional psychotherapy and guidance for personal growth in matters related to most psychological challenges and problems, ranging from coping with difficult circumstances in life or at work, trauma, excessive stress, anxiety and panic, depression, relationship problems, trauma, attention deficiency, eating disorders and many more. Psychometric tests and evaluations are also performed when necessary. |
